We perform goodwill and indefinite-lived intangible asset impairment testing for an automotive corporation annually and determine the fair value of the total net assets of 12 reporting units and the fair value of nine indefinite-lived trade names and trademarks. Our analysis is used by management to satisfy financial reporting requirements.
