E. Weiant Williams has over 20 years of professional experience providing financial and litigation services with a specialty in complex claims consulting. Through his career, he has assisted clients in virtually all aspects of the claim and litigation process, such as damage quantification, Rep. & Warranty Insurance disputes, coverage analysis, modeling, negotiation strategy, expert testimony, and international arbitration.
Weiant has extensive experience in the resolution of third-party APH (asbestos, pollution, and human health) claim issues. He has performed damage analyses and developed allocation analyses in both an expert and consulting capacity. He also has helped numerous clients in the development and preparation of first-party property damage, business interruption, and builders risk claims.
He is also a part of Stout’s transaction / post-M&A dispute practice, through which he has helped multiple clients with alleged breaches of representations and warranties and related insurance claims. He can serve as a consultant or expert in these disputes.
Weiant provides financial consulting services to attorneys, executive management teams, and individuals in the context of complex commercial litigation. His experience includes economic damage analyses and opinions, forensic investigations, and litigation risk assessments.
Prior to joining Stout, he was a Managing Director at The Claro Group. Prior to that, he spent three years at Ernst & Young – two years as an auditor in its Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice and one year as a consultant in its Litigation Services Group.
