Trey Brown is a Director in the Due Diligence practice at Stout, focusing on healthcare and life sciences financial diligence. With over a decade of experience, he advises strategic and private equity clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions across a broad spectrum of healthcare sectors.
His expertise spans, but is not limited to, fee-for-service providers, at-risk providers, health plans, post-acute care, behavioral health, and life sciences. He has also conducted large carve-out transactions and worked with companies that have international components.
Trey specializes in analyzing quality of earnings, evaluating working capital needs, identifying debt-like items, and assessing purchase agreements. He works with corporate development, investment, and finance teams to assess key valuation and transaction considerations.
Before joining Stout, Trey was a Director in Berkeley Research Group’s Healthcare financial due diligence group. He also spent ten years at Deloitte, including seven years in the healthcare and life sciences M&A Transaction Services group.
Trey’s industry knowledge and technical expertise enable him to guide clients through complex transactions in the healthcare and life sciences landscape.
