Michael Fleming has over 24 years of experience providing turnaround and restructuring services to public and private sector clients. He has been involved in financial and operational restructurings, valuations, investment banking and corporate finance transactions, investigations of fraud and misconduct, and corporate managed exits for clients in numerous industries. He has worked closely with client executives, attorneys, and lenders in a variety of distressed and non-distressed situations ranging in size from small companies to the largest bankruptcies in U.S. history.
Michael has also assisted numerous public and private clients through the bankruptcy accounting and reporting process. Additionally, he has led clients through the bankruptcy emergence process, specializing in Fresh Start reporting (ASC 852).
Prior to joining Stout, Michael was the National Practice Leader of a boutique financial advisory and restructuring firm. He also has over 18 years of experience with the Big Four at Deloitte and PwC.
