Mark Melancon has over 30 years of corporate finance and valuation experience. He has provided business and asset valuations regarding financial and tax reporting matters including purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, corporate tax matters, gift and estate tax planning, and employee stock option plans.  He has provided advisory services to boards of directors, special transaction committees, lenders, and other fiduciaries with regard to fairness opinions, solvency opinions, and other merger & acquisition planning and execution.

Prior to joining Stout, Mark was a Director in the Financial Advisory Services Group of Houlihan Lokey in Chicago.  Previously, he worked in the valuation groups of Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.  In these roles, he supervised and performed valuations for a wide range of purposes and industries.  Mark began his career in GE Capital’s Corporate Finance Group.
