Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller has significant experience in real property valuation and consulting, with a concentration on valuations for financial reporting, portfolio valuation, and estate and gift taxation.

Lauren has appraised numerous property types, including industrial, retail, multifamily, office, hospitality, self-storage, senior housing, ground lease, vacant land, mixed-use projects, and other special-use property types, such as schools, places of worship, and gas stations. Her valuation experience includes assignments across North America and Europe.

Lauren has consulted on many engagements requiring valuations for financial reporting in connection with ASC 805 related to purchase price allocations, fair value measurements, goodwill impairment testing, and lease accounting. In addition, she has significant portfolio valuation experience for public and private real estate investment trusts (REITs).

Prior to joining Stout, Lauren was a Portfolio & Asset Management Specialist with DWS and a Vice President in the Real Estate Advisory Group at Kroll.
