Karch T. Petersen

Karch T. Petersen has over eight years of real estate valuation experience. Karch's professional experience consists of numerous types of valuation and advisory services for a multitude of property types, including medical, office, retail, industrial, multi-family, net-leased real estate, and other special use property types. He has performed work across the United States, as well as Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Karch is primarily focused on real estate appraisal and valuation services for client owners, operators, and investors of real estate. He has significant experience in real property valuations for financial reporting purposes, including businescands combinations and asset acquisitions (ASC 805), fair value measurements (ASC 820), and lease accounting (ASC 840). Furthermore, he has experience involving leasehold valuations, net asset valuations (NAV) for real estate investment trusts (REITs), and fairness opinions involving real estate company/portfolio transactions.

Prior to joining Stout, Karch was a Director at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps).
