Jeff Zahorak has over 20 years of experience providing real estate, construction, and development advisory services to both public and private-sector clients. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including multi-family residential, student and senior housing, higher education, commercial office, hospitality, healthcare, retail, industrial, mission-critical, renewable energy, and not-for-profit.

Jeff advises companies on risk identification and mitigation of new construction and acquisition value-add projects and portfolios through comprehensive due diligence, construction monitoring and reporting, and project closeout. He works closely with institutional investors, developers, owners, end users, tenants, management teams, not-for-profit directors, general contractors, and design professionals in the context of overall real estate development, entitlements, permitting, design and engineering, budgeting, scheduling, contract and document management, procurement, and change management.

Prior to joining Stout, Jeff was a Vice President and the General Manager of Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) in Chicago, where he led the overall strategy, operations, and service delivery for a wide variety of clients and project types. Prior to PMA, Jeff worked with Ernst & Young, LLP’s Construction and Real Estate Advisory & National Tax Department groups, providing construction advisory and cost segregation services.
