Garry L. Marshall has over 30 years of experience valuing interests in privately held entities, undivided interests in real property, notes receivable, and other financial instruments. Garry’s work primarily includes valuations for estate, gift and income tax purposes, as well as for shareholder transactions. He also advises clients on structuring buy/sell agreements and other governance documents as it relates to valuation issues.
Garry served as the head of Stout’s Houston office from 2012 through 2019. Prior to joining Stout, Garry was a Senior Managing Director at HFBE, Inc. for 18 years, actively managing valuation engagements with a focus on estate, gift, and income tax matters involving companies in various industries.
