Anand Sheth

Anand Sheth is a Director in the Valuation Advisory group. He has over 25 years of experience providing valuation and financial analysis services to both public and private-sector clients.

Anand has directed valuation studies of businesses, interests in businesses, and intangible assets/intellectual property for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting (purchase price allocations, goodwill/asset impairment testing, and stock-based compensation under ASC 805, 350, 360, and 718), transaction pricing, financing, due diligence, domestic and international tax, transfer pricing, litigation, joint venture formation, stock option pricing, and estate/gift tax.

Anand has also provided expert valuation reports and expert testimony in dispute matters, specifically for valuation disputes in the media and entertainment industry (including both for corporate litigation matters and for the U.S. Tax Court).

His clients range in size from private, early-stage companies to Fortune 500 public companies primarily in the media, entertainment, advertising, video gaming, internet/e-commerce, computer hardware, and software industries. Additionally, Anand has serviced numerous prominent media and entertainment and technology companies and has been directly involved with several high-profile acquisitions within the entertainment and media and technology industry.

Prior to joining Stout, Anand was a Director in the Valuation Services group at Kroll, LLC (formerly Duff & Phelps).
