Stout Expands Capital Markets Group
Stout is pleased to announce the expansion of its Capital Markets group with the additions of Michael Won, Managing Director, and David Kim, Director.
Michael brings more than 20 years of experience in securities and direct lending. His expertise includes origination, structuring, and syndication of non-investment-grade and high-yield loans for founder- and sponsor-driven leveraged buyouts, refinancings, complex recapitalizations, growth capital, restructurings, special situations, and exit financings. Michael has worked extensively with middle-market and large-cap companies and has completed capital raises in excess of $60 billion across multiple sectors, including healthcare, technology, industrials, consumer, and oil and gas.
Prior to joining Stout, Michael was a Managing Director at White Oak Global Advisors and held senior positions at Cantor Fitzgerald Sponsor Finance, the Societe Generale’s High Yield Capital Markets Group, and Leverage Finance at Jefferies.
David brings extensive experience advising clients on capital structures and financing terms for revolving credit facilities, term loans, and high-yield bonds. He has arranged numerous debt financings in support of strategic and opportunistic transactions for financial-sponsor-backed companies and public corporations across healthcare, financial institutions, consumer products, retail, and media and entertainment sectors.
Prior to joining Stout, David was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in the Leveraged Finance group and worked at Deloitte Consulting.

Michael received his B.A.Sc. and M.B.A from New York University Stern School of Business. He is based in New York.
David received his B.S. from the University of California San Diego and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He is based in Los Angeles.
