Stout was retained on behalf of the counter-plaintiff to provide a damages opinion in a patent infringement matter related to mobile medical units for both commercial and military/disaster readiness.  Stout analyzed the market for the patented and accused products, ultimately offering lost profits and reasonable royalty opinions for the alleged infringement. The case ultimately settled after expert discovery was completed.
