Stout was engaged by a U.S. publicly traded company in the telecommunication industry,  to perform over a dozen royalty compliance audits of various multinational, publicly traded consumer electronics companies located in Taiwan. The audits performed by Stout uncovered underreported licensed products resulting from product omission, disallowed deductions from net sales, and exclusion of sales generated by licensees’ foreign subsidiaries located in countries such as China and Brazil.
