Westley Chapman

West Chapman has over 25 years of experience providing fund advisory services for alternative investment and private fund investors, managers, and service providers. West leads a global, multi-disciplinary team responsible for Drivr, Stout’s proprietary system for digital delivery of Stout’s portfolio valuation, portfolio company monitoring, and various forms of due diligence technology and services.

Prior to joining Stout, West was the Founder of AlphaPipe Inc., a fintech whose software now serves as the foundation for Drivr, leading the platform’s efforts to streamline and govern due diligence and monitoring processes by designing, building, and operating innovative and differentiated technology, data, and service offerings.

Previously, West was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. During his 16-year career at Goldman Sachs, he held a variety of leadership roles, including building and leading the Risk and Operational Due Diligence teams within GSAM’s Alternative Investment and Manager Selection business, chairing the Operational Controls Committee, serving on the Investment Committee for Liquid Markets Alternatives, and serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Management Division. West also served as Director of Financial Reporting for Travelers Group Inc., an auditor for Price Waterhouse, and an English instructor in Akashi, Japan.
