Trey Pyka

Trey Pyka has over 16 years of experience providing valuation services to both public and private sector clients. Trey performs financial consulting assignments related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate decision analysis, and valuations of businesses and securities. He has provided valuations for financial and tax reporting requirements, and has extensive experience in legal entity and asset valuations for tax restructuring, in purchase price allocations under ASC 805, and in impairment studies under ASC 350 and ASC 360. He has also provided similar financial reporting analyses under the relevant IFRS guidance. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including industrials, consumer goods, healthcare, oil and gas, retail, technology, media and entertainment, professional sports teams, transportation, and restaurants. He has significant experience in the valuation of intangible assets associated with these industries.

Trey advises both publicly-traded and privately owned companies on purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, business enterprise valuation, stock-option valuation, audit reviews of third-party analyses, and the valuation of various intangible assets (i.e., developed technology, trademark/trade names, customer relationships, non-compete agreements, etc.). Prior to joining Stout, Trey was a Senior Manager at KPMG. He began his career at KPMG, where he helped grow the valuation practice in Dallas.
