Hector Torres

Hector Torres is a seasoned healthcare investment banker with over two decades of diverse experience providing M&A, capital markets and strategic advisory services to national and regional health systems, academic medical centers, community-based hospitals and providers, single-specialty and multi-specialty physician groups, payor services entities, post-acute and sub-acute care providers and healthcare-focused private equity firms.

Hector is a Managing Director and leads the Healthcare Services investment banking coverage efforts for Stout. Prior to joining Stout, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Healthcare Services Investment Banking at Daiwa Corporate Advisory, a multi-national investment banking organization. Before Daiwa, Hector was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at B. Riley FocalPoint, a leading middle-market investment bank. Prior to B. Riley FocalPoint, he was a Partner at ECG Management Consultants, where Hector was the founder and national practice leader of the firm’s Mergers, Acquisitions and Partnerships practice.

Prior to ECG, Hector spent nearly a decade working across and within healthcare strategy consulting, private equity, and investment banking, and began his career as healthcare regulatory and M&A attorney in New York, NY.
