Colin V. Copeland

Colin Copeland has provided valuation advisory services to privately owned and publicly traded companies, private equity and credit managers, pension funds, financial institutions, law firms, and accounting firms in connection with financial and investor reporting, transaction opinions, and tax-related matters.

Alongside his valuation work, Colin brings financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience, including building financial models, performing scenario and sensitivity analyses, and supporting portfolio monitoring for private equity and asset management clients.

In particular, his valuation experience includes valuing path-dependent financial instruments by using stochastic modeling techniques and Monte Carlo simulations. He works closely with CFOs, accounting professionals, and private equity managers to quantify sources of value in unique financial instruments, sensitize values based on scenario analysis, and stress test market yield movements to estimate potential future changes in value.
