We were retained by the patent owner to provide a damages opinion in a patent infringement matter related to web-based credentialing software used by hospitals, health insurance plans, and various other healthcare-related entities.  Stout analyzed the sales and profitability of the respective products and also considered various license agreements entered into by the parties.  Stout provided an opinion regarding both lost profits and reasonable royalties and provided testimony as to such at deposition.  The parties reached a favorable settlement prior to trial.
