Varun Verma

Varun Verma is a Managing Director in Stout’s Investment Banking group and is based in the firm’s London office. He has almost 20 years of investment banking experience advising private and publicly traded corporations, growth equity funds, and venture capital firms on complex, cross-border transactions.

Throughout his career, Varun has advised clients on a wide range of transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions, divestments, restructurings, IPO advisory mandates, and equity capital raises. He has deep sector experience in deep tech, semiconductor and photonics, tech-enabled services, and software, having successfully executed more than 30 transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $5 billion.

Prior to joining Stout, Varun was the founding partner of GCR Partners, a specialist deep tech advisory firm. He previously held investment banking roles at Renevo Capital, Magister Advisors, Piper Jaffray, and Nomura International.
