Scott Stringer has over 35 years of experience and specializes in providing forensic accounting services in matters involving commercial disputes and investigations. Before dedicating his entire practice to disputes and investigations in 2001, Scott provided audit, tax, consulting, and forensic accounting services at both national and local CPA firms.
Scott has provided expert witness testimony in federal and state courts as well as arbitrations on issues pertaining to economic damages, accounting malpractice, business valuations, and alleged asset misappropriations. He has also served as both a sole independent arbitrator in post-acquisition disputes as well as part of a three-person panel in FINRA arbitrations.
In addition to litigation matters, Scott has also led numerous domestic and international investigations for management, general counsel and audit committees concerned with embezzlement, accounting irregularities, and ethics violations.
Scott is frequently asked to speak at continuing professional and legal education programs on the topics of forensic accounting and fraud investigation. He is based in Florida.
