Mike Hodgson

Mike Hodgson is a Senior Advisor in the Investment Banking group based in the London office. He has over a decade of senior leadership experience across offshore wind and the broader energy transition sector, with a focus on subsea and topside services, offshore infrastructure, strategic supply chain development, and emerging technologies.

Mike advises Stout’s Energy & Business Services team on strategic coverage and transaction execution within the offshore wind supply chain. His background combines deep sector expertise and commercial insight with a strong track record of driving value through strategic growth initiatives.

Before joining Stout, Mike led the global renewables and energy transition strategy at James Fisher and Sons PLC, where he was responsible for originating M&A and strategic partnership opportunities across the U.K., Europe, North America, and Asia. His work spanned cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and offshore infrastructure project development.

Earlier in his career, he led the turnaround of a subsea services business within a private industrial group, significantly improving profitability and launching new service lines focused on offshore wind. He also brings experience in early-stage industrial technology investment and corporate strategy.
