Lidiya T. Deane, ASA, is a Director in the Valuation Advisory group of Stout and is part of the firm’s Valuation Disputes / Family Law group. Lidiya has extensive experience providing professional valuation advisory services to privately owned and publicly traded companies, high-net-worth individuals, private equity, law firms and attorneys, tax advisors, corporate boards, and fiduciaries.
Lidiya has been retained as a business valuation expert in litigation matters, including high-stakes marital dissolution and shareholder disputes, and she has submitted expert reports for mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Lidiya has performed hundreds of valuations of privately held businesses in a variety of industries. Lidiya assists clients through all phases of litigation: pre-litigation planning, discovery, mediation, and trial/arbitration. Lidiya also has been retained and served as a court-appointed and mutually agreed-upon financial expert in shareholder disputes and marital dissoluation matters.
Lidiya also has extensive experience providing transaction advisory services to companies, including fairness and solvency opinions, buy-sell transactions, corporate redemption transactions, and mergers and acquisitions advisory services. Lidiya also has extensive experience providing valuation advisory services related to the valuation of closely-held businesses for gift and estate planning and tax reporting purposes and financial reporting purposes.
Lidiya holds the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) in business valuation.
Lidiya has published articles, lectured, and led continuing education seminars on the subjects of valuation and litigation advisory services.
