Jason Borras is a litigation consultant and testifying expert for property value diminution and real estate damage-related claims. With extensive real estate econometrics experience analyzing detrimental conditions, Jason contributes published articles and speaking engagements on environmental contamination and eminent domain and holds leadership roles in various professional bodies, including the Appraisal Institute and the International Right of Way Association. He is a contributing author to the published article “PFAS Contamination and Residential Property Values - A Study of Five US Sites within the Assessment Stage of the Remediation Lifecycle.”
Jason works closely with public and private companies, trial attorneys, in-house counsel, agencies, and property owners in various complex property valuation assignments, including environmental contamination, eminent domain, construction defects, geotechnical, title defects, and bankruptcy, for a wide range of property types. From individual property claims to class actions, Jason has the capacity to handle cases of all sizes. His expertise extends across different geographies, including the United States (CA, FL, NY, TN, OH, MA, WA, Guam) and Australia.
Prior to joining Stout, Jason served as a Testifying Expert and Director at Strategic Property Analytics, Inc.
