Jake Wheeler

Jake Wheeler has over five years of experience providing audit and advisory support to both public and private-sector clients. He has served clients across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, consumer products, real estate, and technology, media, and telecommunications.

Jake advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on accounting standard adoptions including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, and initial public offerings. He also assists with the preparation of financial statements and financial reporting, specializing in financial modeling to support technical accounting analyses and transaction reporting.

Prior to joining Stout, Jake served in EY’s external audit practice for three years. During his tenure at EY, Jake managed private and public company audits from inception and through the entire audit project cycle. He assisted his clients with navigating complex accounting topics, including but not limited to revenue recognition, leases, business combinations as well as equity carve-outs, and SPAC transactions.
