Ellen Benjamin

Ellen Benjamin has nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate appraisal and valuation consulting, specializing in appraisals for estate and gift tax planning, tax certiorari matters, transactions, lease negotiations, litigation, arbitration, and appraisal review.

Ellen’s experience spans a broad range of property types, including multi-tenant, single-tenant, and owner-occupied commercial and residential properties, as well as retail, office, and mixed-use assets. Her work also includes the valuation of individual and bulk cooperative and condominium units, land and potential development sites, air rights, and historic properties.

Prior to joining Stout, Ellen served as an assistant vice president at Appraisers and Planners, Inc. and previously worked as a staff appraiser at Brown Harris Stevens. She also held a leadership role in the development of mental health and rehabilitation outpatient services for both for-profit and non-profit healthcare providers, where she supported the launch of new sites, staff management, and the establishment of operating systems.
