Elizabeth Kettler has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, working in both external audit and advisory roles. Elizabeth has experience with a variety of sectors, including banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, and FinTech.

Elizabeth advises financial services firms on technical accounting, financial reporting, and financial regulatory reporting issues. Areas of technical focus include SEC reporting, financial statement and disclosure preparation, revenue recognition, fair value measurement, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Section 404 compliance, and financial regulatory reporting and related internal controls.

Elizabeth has supported clients with IPO/SOX readiness, audit or regulatory remediation efforts, accounting standard adoption, specialized internal audits, root cause analyses, accounting and reporting process enhancements, business requirements for large-scale transformational initiatives, due diligence financial statement analysis, and investigations related to financial regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Stout, Elizabeth was a Senior Manager at EY, where she provided financial accounting advisory services to financial services firms and led the coordination of a full-service suite of solutions for capital markets clients. Elizabeth also worked in EY’s Minneapolis and London audit practices, where she audited public and private companies under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and U.K. GAAP.
