Edward Aertker

Edward Aertker has over four years of experience providing accounting and finance support to upper/middle market firms. He has developed expertise in various sectors including TMT (technology, media, telecom), energy storage, and construction. 

At Stout, Edward concentrates on finance integration, financial planning and analysis, financial statement restatements, IPO readiness, and providing guidance on technical accounting issues (ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 606). His responsibilities include extensive project management, optimizing finance processes during transactions—such as reducing month-end close times—and overseeing overall integration efforts.

Prior to Stout, he worked in KPMG’s audit practice, where he was part of large teams responsible for the full integrated audit of large public companies. Further, he was involved in the audits for multiple smaller private companies as well as multiple SPACs.
