Charles Parker

Charles Parker is an experienced finance and accounting leader with a strong background in the healthcare and life sciences industry. He helps organizations address complex financial challenges to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Charles specializes in implementing financial processes and controls, overseeing ERP systems, managing liquidity issues, driving turnarounds, and executing debt and equity financing strategies. He has expertise in planning and execution of financial strategies, navigating mergers and acquisitions, and supporting board governance.

Previously, Charles held executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, at various medical device, healthcare, and behavioral healthcare companies. Notably, he served as Vice President of Finance at Zogenix, a publicly traded pharmaceutical firm, leading its $1 billion acquisition by UCB. He has guided organizations at all development stages, from pre-revenue startups to publicly traded companies.

Charles began his career in tax at a regional firm, building expertise in client service, accounting, and compliance. He later joined BDO USA as Senior Manager of Assurance and Local Healthcare Practice Leader, where he supported IPOs and provided assurance services to healthcare companies navigating regulatory and capital market challenges.
