Abdel Abraham has nearly a decade of experience providing audit and advisory support to both public and private sector clients. He has served clients across a broad range of industries, including media & entertainment, manufacturing, retail, aerospace & defense, technology, life sciences, and real estate.
Abdel advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on accounting standard adoptions and the application of technical accounting topics, including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, purchase accounting, and stock-based compensation. He also provides assistance with initial public offering readiness and the preparation of financial statements and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Stout, Abdel served in EY’s external audit practice for over five years. During his tenure at EY, he managed private and public company audits from inception and through the entire audit project cycle. He assisted his clients with navigating complex accounting topics, including but not limited to ASC 606 implementation, stock-based compensation, goodwill impairment, and ASC 805 business combination transactions, among others.
