Douglas was appointed Chief Restructuring Officer of an exploration and production company operating primarily in the Gulf of Mexico. He and his team were also retained as financial advisors to the company. 

The CRO services included reviewing strategic turnaround options, negotiating payment and security agreements with secured lenders and vendors, and exploring alternative financing arrangements. 

The financial advisory services included developing cash flow forecasts, performing cash management and reporting, and analyzing feasibility of various turnaround options.
