Stout was retained as the expert witness to evaluate and testify to damages resulting from infringement of copyrighted designs of manufactured homes. Stout also evaluated damages regarding misappropriation of trade secrets. The supporting analysis focused on the market for manufactured homes and the degree to which the plaintiff and defendant competed with each other in that market. Damages were based on various theories and remedies including lost profits, price erosion, and disgorgement of profits.
