Retained by the managing partners of a real estate development company to provide rebuttal testimony regarding allegations of misappropriation of assets and the related monetary damages. Stout issued an expert report and provided deposition testimony. The analysis involved the review of approximately 10 years of records including how the operating partner accounted for the development and the tracing of invested funds and how those funds were utilized. Additionally, we rebutted an opposing expert's use of various interest rates in his estimation of damages. The matter is still pending.
