Stout provided expert testimony in a breach of fiduciary duty matter to evaluate the financial performance of a number of entities that held 20+ quick service restaurants as their primary assets. Our analyses entailed research around comparable quick service restaurants in terms of location-dependent performance, appearance, and other operating metrics using both publicly traded and private company models. We utilized this research as a benchmark to compare the subject entities’ restaurants and ultimately determine the underlying value that was used to rebut the opposing expert opinion.
