Russell Frank has expertise in providing a wide range of support services to both public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries. He concentrates on audit readiness, financial statement preparation, controllership, and technical accounting matters (including ASC 606, 842, 805, 303, and 718).
Russell also advises companies on financial close, consolidations, budgeting and forecasting, purchase accounting, internal controls, operational accounting, financial statement audits, process improvements, and other areas. As part of audit readiness, he works with companies to reconcile and clean-up historical accounting balances, evaluate compliance with accounting policies, address gaps in accounting under U.S. GAAP, and prepare financial statements for the external audit process.
Prior to joining Stout, Russell spent five years as an assurance professional in public accounting serving private companies in the energy and real estate industries, as well as public oil and gas companies.
