Peter Smith has been delivering impactful strategic research and decision-support to senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies for over 15 years. He has performed and managed hundreds of engagements in market, product, distribution, and competitor analysis, market entry strategy, supplier advantage, and pre-deal acquisition and partner diligence. He has significant experience across numerous sectors, including heavy equipment, manufacturing, building products, technology, oil and gas, agriculture, and healthcare. He has substantial international experience, performing work in more than 30 countries across six continents.
Prior to joining Stout, Peter was a Partner at Pointe Advisory in the Industrials practice and an operational leader at Pointe. Prior to joining Pointe, he held technical and management positions with a technology and speech recognition firm acquired by 3M and a start-up in the telecommunications training industry, later acquired by LRN Corporation.
