Michael A. Saponara

Michael Saponara has specialized in litigation support, forensic accounting, and business valuations for over 30 years. His responsibilities include forensic accounting, litigation support, industry research, financial analysis, economic analysis, and the valuation of privately held businesses. Michael also has extensive testimony experience, having testified over 30 times in both federal and state courts. 

Prior to joining Stout, Michael was a Managing Director at Financial Research Associates, Inc. Before that, he held a variety of positions in the fields of accounting and law, including Auditor and Senior Auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick and Senior Cost Accountant with Reliance Insurance Co. He was previously a litigation support and accounting manager for the accounting firm Jones, Hayward & Lenzi and for the accounting and consulting firm Parente Randolph.

He has also served as a practicing attorney.
