Melissa Nietzel

Melissa Nietzel is a seasoned technical accounting and transaction service advisor with over 20 years of experience providing services to both public- and private-sector clients. She has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, consumer, and technology, media, & telecommunications.

Melissa advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on complex transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and acquisitions. She also provides IPO readiness, filing, and comment letter support, and she offers financial statement preparation assistance under private and public company standards. Melissa is conversant on resolving a variety of complex technical accounting and reporting issues, including new standard adoption, business combinations, debt financing, and equity instrument accounting. Melissa has worked with most of the major audit and legal firms when providing accounting, reporting, and transaction support.

Melissa is an active CPA in California, Missouri, Massachusetts, and Arizona. She previously served as a member on the AICPA’s Uniform Accountancy Committee.
