Mary Eichenberg

Mary Eichenberg has extensive experience in internal controls, audit, and risk advisory serving both public and private sector clients. She has broad expertise across a range of industries, including life sciences, technology, media and entertainment, consumer, and financial services.

Mary advises public and pre-IPO companies on Sarbanes–Oxley compliance, internal controls over financial reporting, material weakness remediation, and process improvement. She works closely with stakeholders to refine risk assessments, bring clarity to scope and risk coverage, and drive a lean, efficient control suite.

Prior to joining Stout, Mary spent a decade in the Technology Risk practice at Ernst & Young, where she led IT general control and automated control testing work programs for integrated audits, led Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 and SOC 2 reporting engagements, and performed pre-implementation reviews. She also has experience supporting internal audit co-source engagements and previously worked in the Internal Audit department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
