Loren Lirely

Loren Lirely has more than a decade of experience advising public and private companies on complex accounting and financial reporting matters. His experience includes fresh-start accounting and other bankruptcy-related accounting matters, as well as business combinations, variable interest entities and consolidation analyses, lease accounting, share-based compensation, financial statement preparation, and other technical accounting and reporting matters.

He has served clients across manufacturing, transportation, food and beverage, real estate, media, healthcare, energy, professional services, and aerospace and defense. His advisory work includes evaluating complex accounting issues, developing technical accounting positions, and addressing related financial statement and disclosure requirements.

Prior to joining Stout, Loren served as the Controller at a mid-sized private company where he led the technical accounting and reporting functions. Prior to his industry experience, he served clients in Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice.
