Kate McBrearty

Kate McBrearty has over eight years of experience providing accounting advisory services to both public and private-sector clients. She has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries with a focus in the healthcare and life sciences industry.

Prior to joining Stout, she spent six years in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, where she primarily focused on providing sell-side accounting services. Kate has advised both publicly traded and privately owned companies on accounting for divestitures, including preparation of carve-out financial statements, preparation of closing balance sheets, and review of corporate cost allocations. She has also assisted in creating strategies and exit road maps to prepare accounting functions for separation and has experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
