John Cooper has extensive experience providing quantitative analysis, stress testing, sensitivity analysis, valuation services, and CECL analysis to both public and private sector clients. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of asset classes, including real estate, derivatives, credit, capital markets, and foreign exchange.

John conducts valuation services, quantitative analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing for both public and private sector loan portfolios across commercial and residential real estate, along with consumer and commercial and industrial loan types.

Prior to joining Stout, John worked as a Quantitative Analyst, Assistant Vice President at State Street Corporation. At State Street, John reviewed, tested, and validated an array of quantitative, macroeconomic, and financial models to assess their conceptual soundness and accuracy. Such models included CCAR counterparty credit risk, market risk VaR, PD/LGD, and asset pricing models. Prior to joining State Street, John worked as a quantitative analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
