Jim Hills has over 35 years of valuation, financial, operational, and business development experience, primarily in the healthcare industry, including over 16 years of experience in fair market valuation and commercial reasonableness analyses of healthcare provider compensation arrangements. He is also at the forefront of the firm’s ongoing expansion of its innovative, web-based Automated FMV Solutions™.

Prior to joining Stout, Jim was a Partner with HealthCare Appraisers, Inc. He has also served in various capacities, including as a Vice President of Finance & Administration for a privately held home-health provider, Vice President of Finance and Development for a privately held national neuro-musculoskeletal physician management company, Director of Mergers and Acquisition for a publicly traded physician practice management company, and Manager at Ernst & Young in its Healthcare Audit Group.
