Jim Hills leads Stout’s Healthcare Valuation and Advisory practice. He has over 35 years of experience in valuation, finance, operations, and business development, primarily in the healthcare industry. His focus is on any type of agreement or compensation arrangement that may have Stark and/or Anti-Kickback implications. He routinely works with the nation’s largest healthcare systems and hospitals, as well as small, rural medical facilities with unique needs. Jim also directs the firm’s ongoing expansion of its innovative, web-based Automated FMV Solutions™.

Prior to joining Stout, Jim was a Partner with HealthCare Appraisers, Inc. His other experience includes serving as Vice President of Finance and Administration for a privately held home-health provider, Vice President of Finance and Development for a privately held national neuro-musculoskeletal physician management company, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for a publicly traded physician practice management company, and Manager in the Healthcare Audit Group of a global public accounting firm.
