Jay Clarke

Jay Clarke has a concentration in machinery and equipment appraisal. He has performed valuation services for purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, impairment or disposal of long-lived assets, asset-based lending, property tax appeals, insurance, litigation, estate planning, and fresh start accounting purposes.

Jay has valuation consulting experience concerning domestic and foreign markets. He has performed tangible asset valuations internationally in China, France, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. He has provided valuation services in a wide range of industries, including automotive manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, commercial food processing, aluminum and steel production, plastics manufacturing, rubber extrusion, chemical processing, packaging, energy, healthcare, communications (voice and data), entertainment, hospitality, and retail.

In addition to Jay’s valuation expertise, he has experience conducting tagging, verification, and reconciliation services for large industrial facilities throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Stout, Jay was a Clerk for Dorman Trading, where he performed financial and risk analyses trading commodities and financials on electronic trading platforms.
