Jay Clarke

Jay Clarke specializes in machinery and equipment valuation, with a primary focus on financial reporting. He has extensive experience providing tangible asset valuations for purchase price allocations, impairment and disposal of long-lived assets, and fresh start accounting. His expertise also includes valuations for insurance placement, asset-based lending, property tax appeals, and estate planning purposes.

Jay has performed valuation engagements across a broad range of industries, including automotive, industrial and electronics manufacturing, metals production, food processing, chemicals, packaging, energy, healthcare, telecommunications, hospitality, and retail. He has valued machinery and equipment for assets located throughout the world, including onsite valuation engagements across Europe, Asia, and North America.

Prior to joining Stout, Jay worked at Dorman Trading LLC, where he performed financial and risk analyses related to commodities and financial instruments traded on electronic trading platforms.
