Jake Tafel

Jake Tafel has experience providing audit and technical accounting services to public and private-sector clients. He has extensive experience across a broad range of industries, including biotechnology, energy, manufacturing, education, and entertainment.

Jake advises both publicly traded and privately owned companies on technical accounting, complex financial transactions, financial reporting, audit and IPO readiness, and finance integration and optimization. His technical accounting experience includes stock-based compensation, earnings per share, and dividends. Jake also has experience in financial statement preparation and disclosures, including drafting footnotes for 10-Qs and 10-Ks as well as press releases.

Prior to joining Stout, Jake worked in financial reporting and technical accounting for a Fortune 500 company. Before that, he provided audit services at KPMG.
