Jacob Summerhays has experience providing investigative and litigation support services in both the public and private sectors. He has expertise across a wide range of areas, including fraud and forensic accounting investigations, complex commercial disputes, and regulatory examinations.
Jacob is experienced in applying statistical and data analytics techniques to assist clients in constructing, analyzing, and summarizing large datasets. He has applied this skillset to a variety of industries, including financial services, securities regulation, and healthcare. His work has supported expert witness testimony in numerous legal cases.
Prior to re-joining Stout, Jacob was an Examiner with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Private Funds Unit. Prior to the SEC, he was a Manager with Stout, advising the Department of Justice on investigations, litigation, and ability-to-pay analyses.
