David R. McLean

David McLean has over 18 years of experience providing accounting and reporting advisory services to public and private-sector clients. He has extensive expertise across a broad range of industries, including technology, media and entertainment, consumer products, and life sciences.

David advises publicly traded and privately owned companies on technical accounting matters, financial reporting, SEC regulations, IPO readiness, M&A, and capital raising transactions. He works closely with CFOs and corporate boards to help companies navigate the complexities of technical accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and changing regulations. David’s goal is to provide best-in-class customer service to companies of all sizes to help them achieve their business transformation goals.

Prior to joining Stout, David was a Partner at BDO USA. Prior to that, he was a Director in the Deals practice of PwC, where he also spent two years in PwC’s National Office – SEC Services group.
