Cody Gouin

Cody Gouin has extensive experience providing transaction advisory services to public and private sector clients across a range of industries, including wealth management, manufacturing, hospitality and gaming, and real estate.

He advises companies on technical accounting matters, including fresh-start accounting, business combinations, stock-based compensation, debt and equity transactions, and revenue recognition.

In addition to serving as project manager for larger cross-functional projects, Cody has assisted companies in issuing their first annual financial statements and has advised on various control related matters, such as internal control design and implementation, and SOX remediation. He also brings experience advising on both buy- and sell-side transactions.

Prior to joining Stout, Cody worked at Deloitte, providing accounting and reporting advisory as well as audit and assurance services.
