Industry Update: Oil & Gas

Oil prices have risen again after Saudi Arabia pledged to cut oil production to counter economic headwinds that have depressed oil pricing markets. Starting in July, production will be cut by 1 million barrels per day, which is Saudi Arabia's biggest voluntary cut in years and underlines the uncertain outlook for demand for fuel in the months ahead. There are concerns about economic weakness in the U.S. and Europe, while China's rebound from COVID-19 restrictions has been less robust than many had hoped.

Three Stout experts were appointed to International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) boards: Harris Antoniades to the Financial Instruments Board and Kyle TenHuisen to the Tangible Assets Board.
