Jesse A. Ultz is a Managing Director in the Valuation Advisory group and the co-leader of the Business Valuation practice. He has extensive experience in the field of valuation, litigation and related expert testimony, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jesse’s valuation advisory experience encompasses a broad range of industries and has been performed for numerous purposes including fairness and solvency opinions, purchase and sale advisement, estate and gift taxation, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), valuation discount opinions, and other corporate, tax, and shareholder planning. Jesse sits on Stout's Fairness and Solvency Opinion Committee, which sets internal policy for Stout and also reviews the draft opinions that are reached by members of Stout's Transaction Advisory and ESOP Advisory practices. Jesse also specializes in valuation in a litigation setting; his related experience includes shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyance matters, transaction disputes, bankruptcy related valuation litigation, and other litigation involving complex valuation issues. Jesse’s experience spans a diverse client base, from regional middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
