Stout valued two 150-year-old brands related to products and services used in the education technology and publishing industry. The project was performed for a Chicago-based bank that was considering issuing debt to the brands’ owner using the underlying intellectual property as collateral for the loan. Our analysis was used as one aspect to support the banks’ decision to issue the debt to the owner of the brands.
